Ok anyone who’s known me for more than 30 seconds probably knows I’m going to start with @severelysnapped, AKA the light of my life, AKA Holmes. We’ve been RPing together for- jesus iunno, 6 years or something stupid like that? Time is an illusion. Something that’s been true in every fandom we’ve been in together ( which is like a bajillion, ok- where he goes, I go ) is that not only is Holmes’s writing and characterization fucking amazing, but he’s also got a?? Phenomenal grasp of the world we’re writing in. Much of what he’s created is simply ‘canon’ to me, and I often forget that it’s technically not, and that is especially true in this fandom, where he manages to mesh real life history with what we know of the wizarding world, as well as bring a stunning sort of logic to magic itself.
