@ Gellert, smash or pass: Newt Scamander ( listen I understand lizard but I wanna see what he says )

{ Deep Ass Starters }

“I think that’s more Newt’s decision than mine,” Gellert pointed out easily enough, once he understood the full nature and context of the question. “I consider Newt to be a good friend – that is not something I am willing to sacrifice for something as silly as a game. If that is the trajectory our allegiance is meant to take, I will not oppose it – but as it is, I enjoy what we have now well enough and see no reason to change it.”

Mun Translation: Gellert would smash, but he values their friendship more and sees no reason to act unless Newt grants an indication he would like to explore that avenue. This applies STRICTLY to Newt as presented on @indiscretus.

@ Severus, smash or pass: Lucius Malfoy ( with Cissa’s blessing ofc )

{ Smash or Pass }

When he thought of karma coming back to haunt him for all of his misdeeds in life, he generally envisioned something a great deal more violent than this. Yet, it was a flawless strike – forcing a confession through his lips that had no right to see the light of day was by far a greater violation of his person than any amount of physical violence could equate to. He was too desensitized to it – but this, a humiliation so complete as to be nearly sublime – we precisely cruel enough to account for some karmic dues at last meting their way through to him. He refused to qualify his answer, to say anything more or less than what was expected, and even that was damnation in and of itself. “Smash,” It was grit out so softly, it would be a damned wonder if anyone actually heard it.

“ what do you remember?” | Newt poppin in on Jacob in his bakery sometime after NY

{ Interrogation Starters

“What do I remember? What don’t I remember?” The affable tones were bright as the smile that preceded them – even if that secondary question might have held some real inquiry behind it. There were – gaps, at times, odd jumps that didn’t make a whole lot of sense, but he had a feeling things would fill in now

“I remember you of course!” Jacob laughed, his hand still holding on to Newt’s arm like he thought the man might disappear into thin air on him or something. ( And he could do that, too! For real! He’d had dreams about that popping, wooshing sound for weeks! ) “And Queenie – “ Gosh, who could forget her? “And Tina! And of course all your friends! How are those occamy fellas doin’ anyway?”

for Harry: blood, clowns, mirrors, ghosts ( excluding coming back from the dead :/ ), curses, heights, solitude, number 13

{ Fear Headcanons }
Making these short and craicy cause there’s too many otherwise xD

BLOOD: What’s the worst injury your muse has ever had?

One time all the bones in his arm were Vanished – while that itself didn’t hurt exactly, he would say growing them back was the worst injury he’s ever experienced.

CLOWNS: Does your muse prefer comedy? Or horror?

Comedy. His life is a horror.

MIRRORS: What is your muse’s least favorite thing about their appearance?

“You look just like your father – except your eyes. You have your mother’s eyes.”

At first, this was a comfort. Eventually, it became painfully repetitive. Then later, he stopped hearing it at all, and was forced into the horrible realization it was because he had outlived them to the point he no longer resembled anyone’s memory of them, and the grief cycle repeated all over again.

GHOSTS: Has your muse ever seen something they couldn’t explain?

Ludo Bagman’s fashion choices.

CURSES: Does your muse believe in good/bad luck? How about karma?
NUMBER 13: Does your muse believe any superstitions?

His life was literally ordained by a voice inside a crystal ball at this fucking point he pretty much believes in anything to some extent until it is proven otherwise false.

SOLITUDE: Name 3 things your muse couldn’t live without.

Answered seriously here.

🦇🦇🦇 sends a swarm of bats to nest in Severus’s office just because

“What the f–” Minerva. This was her doing, it had to be. No student would fucking dare – and he had mistaken her earlier that week for the Lloyd boy’s missing tabby cat. He’d recognized her almost immediately after picking her up off the ground, apologized and put her back on her way – but it seemed she still had something to say about it.

“I should keep every single one of you.” It would serve her right, somehow.

“I am only tolerating this on account of the fact you, at least, have not been a tremendous fucking idiot today.” Quick though he was to scathe at the offering, his tone wasn’t even half as acerbic as they both knew it to be capable of, and there was perhaps the faintest hint of amusement in his gaze as he finished wiping his hands clean.

In truth, he was grateful – had it not been for Joji’s assistance, they might well have lost two men today, which Severus would not have accepted easily. His fury with their Captain was mounting with each failed assault, with each needless parcel of human wreckage that crossed its way across his makeshift surgery because their fool of a leader kept throwing them to the hounds with nothing to show for it but scars and dead brothers.

Mutiny was whispering among the men, lead mostly by Singleton. Severus imagined Gates would quash it – despite the fact he ought to be taking Flint to task, but as it was there was little to do but wait and see how the piece dropped. He wondered idly if Joji was content with this – and though he knew the man would keep his counsel to himself regardless, it would be interesting to know where he leaned.

Setting his cloth aside, Severus knew he ought to rest  –  indeed, that Joji was likely informing him his job was done for today and there was no further need for stress. In his own way, at least. Nevertheless Severus was restless in his irritation, and paced to check his stores despite knowing full well what he had on hand.

Well, perhaps not fully.

Reaching up, he withdrew the flower to inspect it critically, in case it might be medicinal or of use to his other projects – and smiled a bit when he recognized what Joji had brought him. “Ixora.” So – they were back at that old cay. He hadn’t been sure where they’d made berth, having been a little too preoccupied ensuring certain members of the crew remained attached to their limbs but now that he did know, he glanced back at the man and raised it up, lips quirked as he realized what the other was truly up to.

“I trust you intend to take me to these?” A clever means of keeping Severus’ thoughts off today’s catastrophic failure, indeed.
